About the project

The G-FEB project aims to improve the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system in the Balkan region by creating innovative, market-specific training solutions.

These solutions will offer lifelong learning opportunities and promote the development of green and sustainability skills among female entrepreneurs. The project addresses several challenges in the Balkan region and Turkey, including low- quality vocational education and training, unemployment rates, particularly among women and vulnerable groups, skill mismatch with the labour market, and a lack of green initiatives.

The project’s objectives include developing VET curricula on green entrepreneurship, bridging the gap between the VET sector and the labour market, building the capacity of VET teachers and trainers, enhancing cooperation between public and private stakeholders, developing the green and digital skills of VET teachers, trainers, and women entrepreneurs, and training women in green entrepreneurship.

The consortium comprises eight organizations from Greece, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Turkey, and Austria. These partners will leverage their expertise in vocational education and training, supporting women entrepreneurs, and facilitating access to the labour market to produce high-quality outcomes and maximize impact on the target groups.

The G-FEB project is designed to emphasize the importance of vocational education in the green entrepreneurship sector and the community’s responsibility to shift towards greener, more sustainable practices combined with smart specializations and digitalization. Here’s a summary of its impact on various target groups:
