The AAIE boasts extensive experience collaborating with both International and National organizations, accumulating over fifteen years of expertise in the analysis, research, planning, implementation, and evaluation of diverse socio-economic policy initiatives. This proficiency is particularly concentrated in the field of the environment.
As a non-governmental organization, our projects center on environmental and human development, dedicated to fostering the social and economic recovery of the country. Our commitment lies in environmental protection and the pursuit of a harmonious coexistence with nature. To achieve these goals, we provide technical assistance, information, and capacity-building services in environmental sustainability. Our activities include:
Conducting scientific research and studies in the field of the environment
Advancing Environmental Information and Technology Development
Developing and implementing environmental policies in adherence to EU directives
Offering expertise in specific areas such as air quality/air pollution, environmental legislation, energy, forestry, land and water management, waste management, and sustainable agricultural practices
Conducting awareness campaigns and community education
Influencing Albanian society towards nature protection, efficient use of natural resources, and maximizing the utilization of renewable energy
Developing programs for environmental sustainability and proficient environmental management using the latest contemporary Information and Technology techniques
